Expos 14U Win Midwest Turf Championships

The Expos 14U Majors won the JP Sports Midwest Turf Championships in Bettendorf, IA, the weekend of May 21-23. Down 8-0 to the Iowa Oaks in the 5th inning of the semifinal game, the Expos scored five runs and then a River Freeman home run scored three more to tie it up. Austin Lahti had the walk-off hit in the bottom of the sixth inning to win it for the Expos. In the championship game the Expos cruised to a 8-0 win over EMB Gold. Congrats boys on your second ring of the season!
